Creating Your NinjaHere's your chance to make your very own personal ninja, which you'll use for all of your activities in the world of Ninja Tatakai. The creation process may seem a little complicated, but this guide is designed to simplify it as much as possible, while instructing you on how to build your ninja. Below is the template you'll use throughout the creation process. I recommend you copy and paste it into notepad or another text editing tool. First we'll start with your stats. There are four main stats which you must maintain during battle. Hit Points (HP)Hit Points reflect your ninja's ability to withstand damage. If your ninja's HP drops to 0, they will be KOed. *Hit Points can be increased by raising your ninja's Vitality *Your ninja starts with 30 base HPAction Points (AP)Action Points reflect your ninja's speed and ability to perform tasks in a set amount of time. In battle, your ninja uses AP to move, attack, defend, and do pretty much anything else. *AP can be increased by raising your ninja's Agility *Your ninja starts with 5 base APStamina (STA)Stamina reflects your ninja's energy. Most jutsu require your character use up Stamina. Stamina can also be converted into Chakra. Stamina recovers over time, and you can boost your ninja's ability to regenerate Stamina by raising his Vitality. *Stamina is increased by 1 for every level your character obtains. *Your character starts with 10 base StaminaChakra (CHK)Chakra reflects your ninja's spiritual energy, and allows him to perform ninjutsu. Chakra can recover over time, and you can boost your ninja's ability to regenerate Chakra by raising his Mind. *Chakra is can be increased by raising your character's Mind stat. *Your character starts with 5 base ChakraNow that you know what each stat does, you'll probably want to know about the attributes. A ninja's attributes are their five principle forms of training. The five areas of training are Strength, Mind, Vitality, Agility, and Dexterity. Attributes StrengthStrength determines your ninja's physical power. Strength is your main Attack stat when it comes to using physical attacks. *For every level of Strength, your character deals +1 damage with STK (Striking) attacksMindMind determines your ninja's balance between the mind and body and reflects their ability to summon and manuipulate their chakra. Mind is your main stat relating to ninjutsu and genjutsu. *For every level of Mind, your character deals +1 damage with ELM (Elemental) attacks *For every level of Mind, your character's max Chakra is increased by 1 *For every 10 levels of Mind, your character's Chakra Regeneration is increased by +1VitalityVitality determines your ninja's ability to take hits and withstand damage. Vitality is your main stat relating to physical defense manuevers. *For every level of Vitality, your character reduces damage by 1 while using BLK (Blocking) defenses *For every level of Vitality, your character gains 5 HP *For five levels of Vitality, your character gains 1 DEFAgilityAgility determines your character's speed and flexibility. Many skills that involving dodging (known as DGE skills) reap benefits from Agility. *For every level of Agility, your character reduces damage by 1 while using DGE (Dodge) defenses *For every five levels of Agility, your character gains 1 base APDexterityDexterity determines your character's aptitude with weapons and tools. Dexterity helps boost the damage of your weapon attacks. *For every level of Dexterity, your character deals +1 damage with WPN (Weapon) attacksCunningCunning has no inherent bonuses, but it contributes largely to your character's ability to cast and resist genjutsu and other deceptions. Now that we know all about the stats and what attributes affect them, we're ready to add points to them. You get 5 free attribute points upon creating your character. Use them wisely, because, while you can change your stats later, it costs precious Cash, which you'll need for other things. So now you should have the first 2/3s of the template filled in. Make sure to do all of the calculations for HP, AP, Stamina, and Chakra.

Along with your other starting materials, your ninja receives a free set of Jutsu. If you don't know how Jutsu work, you should first read the section about Jutsu in the FAQs before selecting your starting Jutsu.
If you DO know how jutsu work, continue on and select your free jutsu. You have five slots to fill, and each slot has a selection of jutsu, of which you may pick one.
Slot 1 Selection Palm Strike (-1 AP, -1 STA) A powerful palm thrust which sends the target backward. atk 1 - single target - taijutsu [STK] [-R] [1h] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Stagger1 - Target is forced one space backward Combo - If another attack is used this turn it deals +2 damage and costs 1 less AP
Disarm (-1 AP) Remove your target's weapon. atk 0 - single target - taijutsu [UND] [-R] [1h] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Disarm - Target's weapon is returned to their inventory. This skill fails if the user's DEX is less than the target's. Zero Damage - This skill does 0 damage.
High Kick (-1 AP, -2 STA) A high kick aimed at the target's head. May cause the target to be stunned. atk 1 - single target - taijutsu [STK] [-R] [f] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] First Strike - If this is the first attack used during the battle, it cannot be defended. Stun2 - Target loses 2 AP immediately, or their AP is reduced to 0. Recoil - The user loses 1 AP or their turn ends. (Can be counted towards a combo chain but does not have to be)
Feint Step (-2 AP, -2 STA) A quick feint step which offsets the target's balance. atk 1 - single target - taijutsu [UND] [-R] [f] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Unsteady - If another attack is used immediately after this, the target must pay an additional 1 AP to initiate a defense skill (can be BLK only) and the DEF applied by the skill is halved. If a defense skill is used, it automatically triggers the defense penalty. Unguardable - This attack cannot be defended
Charging Barrage (-1 AP, -2 STA) The user dashes forward while throwing a barrage of kunai. atk 2 - hits first target - taijutsu [WPN] [-R] [2hf] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][ ][x][x][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] Move - User is moved one space forward. Forced Defense - If this attack is defended, it triggers forced defense. If this skill is directly followed by an attack, that attack has 50% defense jutsu DEF penetration. Cooldown* - This jutsu can only be used 1 + 10% of user's DEX times per turn.
Slot 2 Selection Follow-up Fist (-2 AP, -2 STA) A follow-up attack which can be used to push or temporarily stun a target. atk 3 - single target - taijutsu [STK] [-R] [1h] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Follow-up - Must follow an attack. Stagger* - The user may choose to force their target one space backward. If they choose not to, the target receives Stun1 Stun1* - Target loses 1 AP immediately or their AP is reduced to 0. Only takes effect if the user bypassed the Stagger* effect.
Double-strike (-1 AP, -2 STA) A weapon attack that strikes twice. atk 1(2) - single target - taijutsu [WPN] [-R] [1w] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Applicable Weapons: Any
Gashing Strike (-1 AP, -2 STA) A stabbing or cutting attack which causes the target to bleed. atk 1 - single target - taijutsu [WPN] [-R] [1w] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Applicable Weapons: Dagger, Sword, Spear Bleeding - Target begins bleeding. Bleeding victims suffer -1 health degeneration at the beginning of each turn, and suffer 1 damage if they use 2 or more AP.
Counter Blow (-2 AP, -1 STA) A counter attack. atk 3 - single target - taijutsu [STK] [-R] [1h] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Applicable Weapons: Any Counter - This skill can only be used if the target has used two or more attacks against the user in their last turn. Stun1 - Target loses 1 AP immediately or their AP is reduced to 0.
Breaking Blow (-2 AP, -2 STA) A powerful strike which breaks a target out of their stance. atk 3 - single target - taijutsu [STK] [-R] [1h] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Applicable Weapons: Any Stance Breaker - If the target is using a defensive stance, this attack deals +1 damage and that target's stance is removed.
Slot 3 Selection Whirlwind Kick (-3 AP, -3 STA) A spinning, mid-air rotation unleashed as a powerful kick. atk 5 - single target - taijutsu [STK] [-R] [f] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Stagger1-2 - Target is forced back 1-2 spaces (user decision) Dizzy1 - Whenever the target uses AP, they must pay double the cost.
Axe Kick (-3 AP, -3 STA) A powerful axe kick which slams a target into the ground. atk 6 - single target - taijutsu [STK] [-R] [f] [ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x] [ ][ ][ ] Knock Down - Target loses 1 AP and is Knocked Down. Knocked Down targets cannot move, attack, defend, or use items. A victim can recover from Knock Down at any time at the price of 2 AP. Speed Variant - This jutsu can be performed at the cost of 1 less AP (non-stacking) if the user pays an additional 1 STA to use it.
Pin Down (-1 AP, -1 STA) A quick series of kunai aimed at the target's feet/legs, which causes them to be momentarily disabled. atk 1 - hits first target - taijutsu [WPN] [-R] [2h] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][ ][x][x] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] Cripple1 - Target is unable to move or use skills that require the feet. Half Bonus - This jutsu receives only half of the damage bonus inherited by the user's DEX attribute. Fixed Damage - This jutsu deals only 1 point of damage to the target.
Slot 4 Selection Fire Element, Phoenix Fire (-3 AP, -5 CHK) A series of molten fire balls which may burn targets. atk 7 - hits all targets - ninjutsu [ELM] [1R] [2h] [ ][ ][ ][x] [ ][N][x][x] [ ][ ][ ][x] Burn2 - Target has -2 health degen and deals -1 damage with all attacks Exhaustion - User has -1 AP regen next turn
Water Element, Whirling Shield (-2 AP, -3 CHK) A swirling torrent of water forms around the user, acting as a shield. def 5 - defensive - ninjutsu [ELM] [-R] [2h] Can be used against: STK, ELM, WPN Water Element - Must be within two spaces of a water element.
Earth Element, Earth Spike (-2 AP, -4 CHK) The user jabs their fist into the ground and summons a jagged stalagmite under their target. atk 4 - select one target - ninjutsu [ELM] [1R] [2h] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][ ][x][x] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] Partial Pierce - This skill has 50% DEF penetration Sudden - If the target has less than 2 AP they cannot defend against this jutsu.
Wind Element, Air Blast (-1 AP, -1 CHK) A quick blast of air from the user's palm which forces a target backward. atk 1 - hits first target - ninjutsu [ELM] [-R] [2h] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x][x] [ ][ ][ ][ ] Stagger1 - Target is forced one space backward. Half Bonus - This jutsu receives only half of the damage bonus inherited by the user's Mind attribute.
Lightning Element, Lightning Strike (-3 AP, -5 CHK) The user reaches out and unleashes lightning chakra forwards at their target. atk 5 - hits first target - ninjutsu [ELM] [-R] [2h] [ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][N][x][x] [ ][ ][ ][ ] Stun2 - Target loses 2 AP immediately or their AP is reduced to 0.
Slot 5 Selection Your fifth slot can be filled with any jutsu from the previous selections.

Well, that's it. Now that you have created your ninja, the last step is to get it approved by either an Anbu or a Kage. One should check your character in at least 24 hours. If not, feel free to PM any moderator for help.
Keep in mind you probably will have to make changes to your character, as it is rare to calculate your character perfectly on the first try. Don't worry, a moderator will help you with any modifications, and you should be ready in no time.
