When in overcharge, it's been concluded, you may still use defencive moves during defence phase.
I don't personally like this. If you may still defend with overcharge on, it takes away a certain destain from being in the Overcharge condition.
So, I was thinking, to add a new thing to the battle, you should be unable to preform any defencive moves while in Overcharge.
Now, if your defence is: "But if they use a defence move, they'll have less AP to attack with during the Attak Phase", then I will say that no matter how far you diminish your AP and no matter how far you go into overcharge, your AP at the beginning of your turn will never be under 0 AP.
So... that leaves you with 5 AP to defend with.

I totally agree.
Thinking about it logically, the current system doesn't make sense: yes, a person can theoretically push themselves beyond their natural limits. But that takes effort, and a strong determination. And most importantly, a chance to prepare. A defensive move is, in essence, a spur-of-the-moment descision. If a person has reached his body's limits, he just doesn't have the capacity to stretch himself further at a second's notice.
I know that Hawk's stance is that the game doesn't necessarily work the way 'real' should work, but still. Overcharged defense... takes away from the experience. In the old format, people had to use their AP wisely, so that they still had enough left for defense at the end of their turn. This way, you can just use up all your AP on attacks, then still be able to use defensive attacks. Sure, you might have to pay for it by attacking once less in the next turn, but come on. By then, it could be too late.
People have to learn to use what they've got. If they start using what isn't theirs, they'll get greedy. I don't like the overcharge system in general, but defensive overcharge is ESPECIALLY unappealling to me.

Concurrance.
Overcharge during an Attack Phase, cool. But while in defencive phase, Gus hit the mark. When you have -AP in Defencive phase, you should not be able to use jutsu.

Think Rock Lee after using the Lotus...for now, Defensive skills which put the user in Overcharge cost x2 AP (for every AP overcharged). Also, the consequences of Overcharge have been harshened. I hope this is pleasing to the public.

Apologization, but, yeah. xD
I saw what you did to the Ap Guide... but what you changed I didn't understand in the first place. Mind explaining how it works before I make another judgement.
