Well, during a rocky start to a battle, Gus kindly advised me on how to word my 'Movement Action' on my character. In the posts (Which have now been deleted due to a group decision to restart the whole battle) I said:
Gus corrected me and told me that I should reword it like so:
The action, gridded out, would ultimately look like this, despite the wording:
[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [K][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [^][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][E] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
My suggestion is to clearly specify in Arena Discussion or another thread to teach newcomers, how one should word their movements. Whether it be from the characters view, or the players view, I think it would help and cause less confusion.
Thanks! ^_^

The movement of your character is based on your own personal perspective.

I see. But, as Gus brought up, wouldn't it be a bit confusing if both players had a different perspective? Then again... I guess that's why we have the grid.

I just find it easiest to say 'up, down, left, right'. That way everyone understands right away what you're getting at.

Yeah, but I find it's easier to move through the character's eyes. It's probably just a matter of opinion, rather then what's easier.

I guess that's why we have the grid. ^_^ Both players do have the same perspective. However, even if you say you "move" in a different direction you still post the battlefield grid after every turn, so we'll always know what you mean .

Of course... and I guess that's why this question it pretty much answered. But yeah.
Just so people know, I think I'll be directing my characters through their perspective, rather from mine. (Sorry Gus! I find this easier!)
