Guide: Your Character
[/b]This guide is intended to help you understand the different elements that make up your character. This guide includes details on stat management and jutsu selection.
Base Stats
There are 4 base stats that will determine your status throughout a fight. You must have a throrough understanding of how these stats work in order to be a competent fighter.
- HP - Hit Points represent the amount of damage your character can withstand before being KOed. The goal of every battle is to reduce your enemy's HP to 0. HP is reduced through damage dealing attacks and conditions, and can be restored through the use of healing jutsu and items.
- AP - Action Points reflect your character's speed and ability to perform actions during their turn. All actions in battle require AP, from moving to using jutsu. It is important to manage your AP carefully so that you have enough to both attack and defend during battle.
- STA - Stamina is your character's main source of energy. It is used primarily in physical combat when performing Taijutsu and Bukijutsu. Your character usually regenerates Stamina at a slow rate during battle, but if you accidentally exhaust your reserves, you may need to spend time resting and regenerating your Stamina. Because this can often leave you vulnerable, it's important to manage your Stamina cautiously.
- CHK - Chakra is your character's, well, Chakra. It represents their maximum Chakra storage. Chakra is used to perform Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. For some ninja, this is the most important stat, while others may ignore it completely. However, those who can competently manage both their Stamina and Chakra will be more potent fighters. You can build up your chakra slowly by attacking your opponent or, for a sudden spring of energy, you can convert Stamina into Chakra.
